KEYLETH

2018, 33 hours, Designed and made by me

Character made by Marisha Ray for Critical Role Campaign 1

This costume was made with a mix of draping, flat patterning, and commercial patterning. The skit was made by using a commercial pattern and enhancing it by adding a decorative stitch to the hem. The front of the top was draped. The back half of the shirt was flat patterned and used cut outs for the tree design, with nude tulle added in to keep the design flat while wearing. The circlet was made from pipe cleaners and aluminum foil, with tape around the edge to smooth it out. The pouches and red belt were made from some left over upholstery fabric with stamped on designs.
